Why Marriage Preparation?

As part of your engagement, the Church requires marriage preparation. We want you to be well-prepared for this extraordinary decision and commitment. After all, you are making a life-long commitment to each other through vows before God!

We hope that this preparation helps you appreciate the beauty of getting married in the Catholic Church - a gift of receiving abundant graces to live a joyful life together. We also hope that, through this process, you learn more about each other and yourselves before you get married.

On this page are resources and requirements in order to complete marriage preparation at Corpus Christi Parish and in the Diocese of Harrisburg. Your first move should be to meet with a priest.

Please fill out the form (red button) in order to get in touch with a priest to schedule a meeting.
